SATYAM MELODY

A lovely Lagoon 450S, Satyam Melody is one of the ‘Big Cats’ of the Mediterranean with an LOA of around 14m and a beam of nearly 8m. Four double cabins, with private toilet and shower, sleep up to 8 guests and there are additional cabins for the skipper and host. Generally, wherever and when ever possible, Satyam Melody cruises under canvas, although she is equipped with powerful motors when needed.  

Catamarans like this are becoming increasingly popular for charter by friends or family. They are perfect for a ‘multi-generational’ holiday where children, parents and grandparents have a family catch-up for a week or more. You’ll find plenty of space on deck for lounging and sunbathing, or if you don’t like it too hot Satyam Melody has a ‘bimini’ (sunshade) over the back cockpit. The interior saloon is spacious and well-appointed. 

Overall Satyam Melody is ideal for island-hopping around the Aegean. Typical charters are offered with breakfast and light lunch provided on board, although the skipper will know plenty of tavernas and restaurants in hidden bays if you fancy the catch of the day ashore. Satam Melody comes complete with a dinghy if you need to drop anchor and transfer to a beach somewhere. In terms of swimming she just heaves-too and you jump in off the stern. 

Evenings are generally spent moored-up to a local harbour, with plenty of time for pre-dinner drinks on board before dinner in a waterfront taverna. In terms of cruising itinerary you can ‘cruise where you choose’ by agreement with the skipper. In general we recommend you pre-plan the outline itinerary, but the great thing about a personal charter is that it can be very flexible.
